My only change to the pattern was that I made the dress hem curved like that of the shirt. The pattern has a straight hemmed skirt. I simply took the shirt pattern piece and traced the curve on the outer edge of the skirt pieces. It was a breeze from there!
Thankfully, I was blessed with a beautiful day for our photos. It was a super hot, Southern (ie. humid) day, but the sun was perfect for our pictures. My Littles are kind of squirmy and difficult to get to sit still, but they are simply irresistible to hang out with and photograph...not to mention that I love them to pieces!

Amy at Peek-A-Boo Pattern Shop has a variety of amazing patterns. She has patterns to fit Newborn to Adult for all occasions including: sleepwear, swimwear, playwear and dress up.
My very first pdf pattern was actually one of Peek-A-Boo's earlier patterns, the Sadie Nightgown. To me, the crazy thing is that my youngest model for this current pattern wasn't even born when I did that first test for Peek-A-Boo, 3 years ago!
When I saw the call for testers for the Cape Cod Shirt & Dress pattern, I was excited to sign up for the opportunity to test for Amy. There are so many patterns for girls, and very few for boys and I've been desperately wanting to make something for Mister D. I was beyond excited to receive the notification that I was selected. Within 24 hours, I had the henley shirt finished and the dress was finished the following day.
As is the case with all of her patterns, the printing and taping of the pattern pieces went off without a hitch. The instructions and corresponding images for construction were on-point, as always.
